HTC is going to release a tablet running Windows 8 later this year, according to an unconfirmed report. This will be the company's first tablet in years.
HTC has been wanting to get into the Windows tablet business for some time, but citing the company's inexperience in this market Microsoft wouldn't let it make one of the first-generation devices running its latest operating system.
Details are scanty, but industry-analysis firm DisplaySearch reports that HTC's upcoming tablet will have a 10.1-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (Full HD). No additional details on its processor, RAM, or storage capacity are available yet.
HTC and Tablets
In the wake of the very successful launch of the Apple iPad, HTC released a handful of Android-based tablets. None of these sold particularly well, and the company subsequently dropped out of the market.
An unconfirmed report from several months ago indicated that HTC was working on two tablets running Windows RT: one with a 7-inch disp0lay and a second with a 12-inch screen. It seems the company's plans may have changed

HTC rock's !!!!.
